Delete your Emina account and data
You can delete your Emina account directly in the app or request deletion here by email.
Delete in the app
The fastest path is Emina → Settings → Account → Delete account. Confirm the email address associated with your account and the deletion request there.
Request deletion without the app
Send the request from the email address you use to sign in to Emina whenever possible. This lets us identify the account and prevent misuse. We may ask for an additional verification step when necessary. Do not send passwords, conversation content, or health information by email.
Request deletion by emailWhat will be deleted
- your account and profile data,
- conversations, mood entries, and journal data,
- AI-derived data such as summaries and memories,
- other product data associated with your account in active systems.
Processing and retention
Once your request has been verified, deletion starts immediately. Personal data is generally removed from active systems within 24 hours. Encrypted backups are automatically deleted after 14 days. A minimal deletion marker remains for 21 days so a deleted account is not reactivated during a restore. Data that must be retained by law is not affected by this request.
